Efficiency and improved job journey
From the Service Desk for the management of infrastructure and fixed and mobile workstations that increases efficiency and improves the job journey of each employee, to the Data Center Management that allowed to rethink and strengthen all the processes supporting Business Continuity, thanks to highly specialized people focused on routine maintenance, but also and above all ready for specific and extraordinary interventions. Both of these services have freed up the time of IT people who have been able to devote more time to the project part, thus becoming more flexible and faster with respect to business needs. Technological innovation has also involved the Dealer world, which is strategic for Ducati: with 800 dealers spread over 93 countries worldwide, properly conveyed Corporate Identity becomes essential to grow the brand. In this context, the Digital Signage project helps Ducati to disseminate multimedia content worldwide in a monitored and controlled way, the Behavioral Analysis of data collected in stores on the other hand allows us to analyze all the information of our customers and to enhance their Customer Experience.
High-performance devices and great computing power
On the dome of the Ducati Desmosedici GP, in addition to the Var Group logo, there is also that of Lenovo, another major technology player that has followed the great victories of the Rossa di Borgo Panigale. The Lenovo brand dominates all compartments that require the heavy use of high-performance devices and solutions. More than 3,000 workstations and workstations throughout Italy present from the reception to the production lines, up to the R&D area, are entrusted to the skills of the Var Group team, which follows with a dedicated presidium in the Emilia headquarters, the customization, configuration, maintenance and management of the entire life cycle. The cooperation between Var Group and Lenovo is absolutely strategic, especially in the Style Center, a division where Ducati designers bring to life the graphic shapes and colors of each motorcycle through photorealistic real-time rendering and simulations that require enormous computing power, even on the move. Today Ducati counts on constant support that covers all needs in IT: through a constant dialogue between Var Group consultants and Lenovo specialists, each device or machine is designed to best meet the individual needs of each division.
