The Var Group Hackathon guide: everything you need to know
When
2nd, 3rd and 4th October
The Hackathon will take place on the occasion of the Var Group Convention 2024 at the Pala Congressi Rimini. Every participant of the Hackathon is encouraged to take part to the event.
Where
Litoraneo Suite Hotel - Rimini
The 32-hour development marathon will take place at the Litoraneo Suite Hotel. The Pala Congressi in Rimini will be the location there the finalist team will present its projects during the last plenary session on 4th October.
How
Developing the business case
The teams participating in the Hackathon will be made up of 5/6 young people with different skills, coming from the main Italian universities and from the Talent Garden Innovation School. Every partner company will be assigned to each team. Team will solve the business case with innovative solutions in response to concrete challenges and implemented by the company.
During the Hackathon, expert mentors on different technologies will be ready to assist the team along the way and facilitate the problem-solving process.

Hackathon participants will be offered a prize in recognition of their efforts and achievements during the event. The prize will be awarded to winners selected from the participating teams whose projects stand out for originality, creativity and potential impact.
